No Small Feat is a first-person shooter with nothing in it but the boss fights. There are three monsters, each the size of a building, and you are a dot at their feet. You have three weapons and take two into a fight.

Something came down from the sky to strip the planet, and the Earth woke up things of its own to stop it. Both want you gone.

The Fault is a mountain ridge that stood up: 40 metres of rock with a seam of magma for a spine, swinging a meteorite on a chain of roots. When the meteorite sticks in the ground, its heart is open and the chain is a ramp up to it. The Gleaner is a harvester from somewhere else that walks over you on six legs. Break the joints in its legs and its glass belly comes down to where you can reach it. The Choir is a black glass bell that throws nine blades, one at a time. Each blade that lands is something to hide behind, and when the last one is thrown the Choir has to come down for them.

The pink light is the only place a monster can be hurt, and nothing else in the game is that colour. You get five hits and no healing. A retry is instant.

The three weapons do three jobs. The Lance is one big shot that you stand still to charge. The Thresher chews through armour and never runs dry. The Hook is a harpoon on a cable that reels you up onto the monster. Whichever one you leave behind, there will be a moment when you want it.

The monsters wake in order, and when all three are down they come back in a harder form, each with a new attack. The game keeps your best time with each pair of weapons, and a star for a kill without being hit. Every day there is a hunt: one monster, one pair of weapons and one change to the rules, the same for everyone. When a fight ends you get a picture of it to share.

You can fight alone, online with up to three friends by invite link, with strangers in Quick play, or two on one screen with a controller. The monster gets tougher with each player, and a teammate who is down can be got back up.

It is made for a desktop with a mouse, and controllers work. On a phone it plays with two thumbs and lighter graphics.

The idea is Jeff's, from two earlier ideas of his, Weak Days and No Cover. Every monster, weapon and ruin is a 3D model generated with Meshy, the sound and music were generated with ElevenLabs, and it was built by Claude with three.js.
