Blame the Dog starts after the crime. You silently farted in a crowded elevator, and each floor (about fifteen seconds) you have to make sure someone else gets the blame before the doors open. Shuffle next to a likely culprit, let it go before you burst, because a loud one is always yours, then wrinkle your nose with everyone else. Never first, though: whoever smelt it dealt it.

Underneath it's a small sim. The green cloud creeps out of the tile where you stood and drifts toward whichever of the two fans is running. Each passenger blames whoever stands in the thickest of it when it reaches them, weighted by how blameable they are, and an arrow across the floor shows who blames whom. Someone standing in the thick of it protests instead, and whoever denied it supplied it. When the doors open, the most blamed gets The Look. If it's you, that's a strike, and three strikes is a walk of shame.

A new kind of passenger boards on each of the first floors. Gary has a burrito and is an easy mark. Everyone blames the dog, and the dog never blames back. Nobody blames Mrs. Pym, and her word counts double. The baby can't be swapped with, the intern panics and shuffles away from the smell, which looks guilty, and Stan has a cold.

The daily ride is the same twelve floors for everyone and shares as a line like 馃洍 Blame the Dog #26 路 12 floors 路 blamed the dog 脳3, Gary 脳2 路 caught once. Endless opens after your first ride.

The idea came out of the studio's own brainstorm. It's built with three.js. The dog, Gary, the baby and Mrs. Pym are Meshy models; the rest of the car, the cloud and every sound, muzak included, are made in code. The promo above was filmed from the real game, with a bot riding the daily elevator.
